Commercial Retail Associates, Inc. (CRA) was founded in October 1991 with Thomas Anderson as a principal partner.  Scott Negri joined the company in 1992 as a partner.

Commercial Retail Associates, Inc. is the oldest and largest independent retail real estate company in Central California.  CRA’s fifteen retail agents represent landlords and tenants from Bakersfield to Sacramento and the Central Coast. CRA opened its second office in Bakersfield in April 1997 under the leadership of John Hale.

For the year of 2007, Commercial Retail Associates handled over 210 transactions totaling more than 849,000 square feet of retail space with a total consideration in excess of $96,389,000 and sold more than $109,600,000 of retail and investment properties.
